Safety Coordination

EL Engineering offers specific consultancy and services for coordination of safety at the planning and executive phases of the work. The company performs every activity with a view to controlling and reducing workplace risks.

EP&S draws up the DVS, the risk assessment document introduced into Italian law by Legislative Decree no. 626/1994. This tool analyses and sets out the guidelines to ensure the prevention measures for workplace health and safety. The Group also draws up the DUVRI, a single interference risk assessment document indispensable for injury prevention at the execution stage.

The Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is responsible for drawing u the documents necessary for site risk prevention.

Chief activities:

  • Drawing up of the Safety and Coordination Plan (SCP)
  • Preparation of a file adapted according to the characteristics of the work containing information useful for worker risk prevention and protection

The on-site Safety Coordinator is responsible for controlling safety at the execution stage and throughout the realisation of the work.

Chief activities:

  • Inspection and control of the application of provisions contained in the Safety and Coordination Plan (SCP)
  • Control of the fitness for purpose of the Operational Safety Plan (OSP), a plan complementary to the SCP
  • Adjustment of the SPC and project file according to progress made
  • Reporting of any failures to comply with the SCP
